Kada se koristi:
1. Kad govorimo o namerama i planovima za budućnost
"I am going to start exercising." - Počeću da vežbam.
2. Kad pravimo predviđanja na osnovu nekih činjenica
"Look at those clouds! It's probably going to rain." - Pogledaj te oblake! Verovatno će pasti kiša.
Struktura
Potvrdni Oblik
• Subject + be (am/is/are) + going to + infinitive.
• Primer: "She is going to travel to Japan." (Ona će putovati u Japan.)
Odrični Oblik
• Subject + be (am/is/are) + not + going to + infinitive.
• Primer: "They are not going to attend the meeting." (Oni neće prisustvovati sastanku.)
Pitanja
• Be (am/is/are) + subject + going to + infinitive.
• Primer: "Are you going to watch the movie tonight?" (Hoćeš li gledati film večeras?)
