Indirektni Govor

Kada koristimo indirektni govor:

Kada prepričavamo šta je neko rekao.
"I am hungry." - Ja sam gladan.
Indirektni govor: He said that he was hungry. - On je rekao da je gladan.

Iako smo gladol biti iz prvog primera (am) prebacili u prošlo vreme (was) prevod je i dalje u sadašnjem vremenu.
Ova promena se zove slaganje vremena i ne postoji u srpskom jeziku.

Ako je glagol say(reći) u sadašnjem vremenu, ništa se neće menjati, dakle glavni glagol ostaje u istom vremenu. "I am hungry." - Ja sam gladan.
Indirektni govor: He says that he is hungry.

Međutim, ako je glagol say u prošlom vremenu, onda se i glavni glagol pomera jedno vreme unazad.

"I am thirsty." - Ja sam žedan.
Indirektni govor: He said that he was thirsty.

Kako se vremena menjaju:

present simple → past simple

"I am hungry." → He said that he was hungry.
"Ja sam gladan." → On je rekao da je gladan.


present continuous → past continuous

"I am going to a restaurant." → He said that he was was going to a restaurant.
"Ja ću da idem u restoran." → On je rekao da će da ide u restoran.


present perfect simple → past perfect simple

"I have lived in London since 2020." → He said that he had lived in London since 2020.
"Živeo sam u Londonu od 2009" → On je rekao da je živeo u Londonu od 2020.


present perfect continuous → past perfect continuous

"I have been waiting for you for two hours." → He said that he had been waiting for me for two hours.
"Čekao sam te dva sata." → On je rekao da ga je čekao dva sata.


past simple → past perfect simple

"I went home." → He said that he had gone home.
"Ja sam otišao kući." → On je rekao da ga je otišao kući.


past continuous → past perfect continuous

"I was cleaning my bedroom." → He said that he was cleaning his bedroom.
"Ja sam čistio svoju spavaću sobu." → On je rekao da je čistio svoju spavaću sobu.


future (will) → future-in-the-past (would)

"I will help you." → He said that he would help me.
"Ja ću ti pomoći." → On je rekao da će mi pomoći.


past perfect ↔ past perfect (nema promene)

"I had lived in London before moving here." → He said that he had lived in London before moving here.
"Ja sam živeo u Londonu pre nego što sam se preselio ovde." → On je rekao da je živeo u Londonu pre nego što se preselio ovde.
