Treći Kondicional
Treći kondicional u engleskom jeziku je vrsta uslovne rečenice koja izražava nemoguću situaciju u prošlosti i njen hipotetički rezultat.
Koristi se kada želimo da zamislimo šta bi se desilo da je nešto drugačije bilo u prošlosti. Na primer:
• Da sam dobio na lotou, kupio bih kuću. (If I had won the lottery, I would have bought a house.)
• Da si me slušao, ne bi se povredio. (If you had listened to me, you wouldn't have hurt yourself.)
• Da je bilo sunčano, išli bismo na plažu. (If it had been sunny, we would have gone to the beach.)
Struktura trećeg kondicionala je: if + past perfect >> would have + past participle. Oba dela rečenice su u prošlom vremenu. Redosled dela rečenice nije bitan, ali ako počnemo sa if delom, onda stavljamo zarez posle njega.
